We were so pleased that thus location was opened back up, the renovations looked beautiful. However the service sucked!!! We were seated quickly and given menus and then waited 10 mins for someone to ask us had our waitress taken our orders, then we waited 30 mins for our salad & soup to arrive. And it wasnt even that busy. When our chicken parmesan came i had to ask for more sauce for our pasta as there was next to no sauce on it. Both orders of chicken parmesan varied greatly in their size
Just went to Eastside Mario’s on Upper James and sat down for more than 1/2 hour and all the severs just walked past us like we were never there, the worst service ever. The manager also walked past and while she fixed the tables we got up and walked out. Sorry but this is very poor service.
Where do I begin, walked in and put my name in to wait 20 mins for a table. Looked around and saw at least 7 empty tables which, fair, understaffed. Got seated and was not greeted by a server for 15 mins. After this proceeded to wait 1hr and 20 mins for the food. Asked for a manager who came over and didn't even bother to say his name and apologized. He then threw every staff member under the bus and never once took the blame. Still had to pay 50% of the meal. Great service eh?
The atmosphere is terrible, led lighting is harsh, the place was freezing, we had to keep our coats on the entire time we were there. The place is loud, the music blaring through tinny speakers. We were there at 8:30pm so not very busy and yet it was almost 9:30pm by the time we got our food. Food was mediocre at best. The diner dishes were still on the table when the crappy dessert was served with no cutlery or napkins. We had to go and hunt down the waitress to pay, we are never coming back!!
this is the last time that I will go to east side marios because of the food every time that I have been at the same location my food was not cooked, cold or they didn't have it. 2 nihts ago we took are granddaughter for her birthday and when I got mine it was hard and not cooked
