We celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary with our family at Michaels On The Thames on Oct/5/19, we had a most enjoyable dining experience, the private dining room was a nice touch for our celebration.Joelle made us feel very welcomed and provided a service that was very much appreciated.Todd our server was super with making sure all of the guest were looked after. I brought in a tour group of 33 people and the manager Jodi and her staff were waiting for us when we arrived. They provided great service and the food was very good. The group all voted they would go back again! Thank you so much! Our travel date was on 9/24/11 and arrived around 6:15pm for dinner. It was also nice being a family restaurant you could order wine, beer etc. One of the ladies in our group was having a birthday and the staff provided a slice of choc. cake and sang Happy B-day! I have been using their take out/delivery service for over 10 years and I have never once had a complaint. I called once not realizing they weren't open yet and when they got in they saw my phone number on their call display and called me back to ask if I'd like to place an order - who else would take that time??!! I love the food - always fresh and steaming hot when it arrives. Always delivered under the time specified and all of the staff are extremely pleasant and friendly and very accomadating. Lire plus

I find myself at this place multiple times during the week. I go for breakfast one day, lunch the next, and then for dinner another day, and I'm usually there for the nights events. They have great concerts, great food, the staff, at least the bartenders and bouncers are all fantastic and some of my good friends, and the service is more often than not fast and helpful. Just the other day after going to this place for a year and a half, had my first bad experience with service, but after mentioning it to the manager, everything got sorted out and I still had an excellent meal even though it was a bit slower than usual. And their drinks are fantastic. I've only had one bad drink there and that was after they just started a new barrel so the beer was a bit watery - I just asked for a new one and they gave it to me no problem. I can't say enough good things about this place. I never turn down an invite to this place. Lire plus

I can't understand how anyone can not like this place, or go in to expect 'fine dining' as one reviewer described. If you want a good no-frills breakfast I can't think of a better place to go in London. I've been a patron of this place for close to 4 years now and it's always been great. I rarely order from the lunch menu but anything on the breakfast menu is so decent and down to earth that it's really hard to hate. The spices on the home fries really do it for me too. Service is usually always great (at least with the server we see the most, Catherine/Catty I think her name is?) She really makes us welcome every time. I've never had any of the other problems other people have reported (charging tip without notice, mice?) The place is a slightly different place though at night when the servers and staff are different - sometimes service can be slow and inattentive. Lire plus

When I was told we were going here for dinner I was no amused. Boring bad bar food is all I could think of but biy was I surprised. We visited on a Friday night and were greeted by an extra happy gent who showed us to a nice comfy booth. Our waitress was equally as cheery -- like REALLY cheery. She told us the specials, filled up our cups without asking and was super fast on her feet. The fish and chips were outstanding. The 2 fish portions were huge and not too battery, the fries were just okay. The steak was cooked perfectly. I got the mushroom salad with grilled chicken and was blown away by the taste and size -- salads usually disappoint. VERY happy and probably will return. Lire plus

If you wan't real Dim Sum made freshly everyday, unlike most dim sum restaurants that just heat up their frozen dim sum, then this is the place to come.
