All of our menu items are gluten and wheat free and are made by hand and can be modified to suit your dietary needs. Please inform your server of any food restrictions. On Sept 17,2010 we went to Frankies in hopes of discovering a new favorite restaurant now that 38 degrees in Peterborough is gone. We found it!! Service was great as soon as we entered the door there was someone there to greet us, welcomingly, happy to have our business which is not common now adays. Menu was limited but covered all types of chicken, seafood, beef dishes. Appetizers were delicious. Some of us enjoyed desert and the rest had a great cup of coffee...suggest you order a ceasar drink as it comes garnished with pickled asperagus which is a nice change from celery. Go for dinner there if you are celebrating something special. They were also willing to custom make your order so if you are on a reduced calorie diet it is the place to go. Was a relaxed dinner...not rushed and clean washrooms!!!
The only totally Gluton free restaurant we have found so far near the GTA. The food is excellent, with good size portions. Price is good as cooking gluton free is not inexpensive. We have now been 4 times (three for lunch and 1 for dinner). If you requre gluton free, you will be thrilled with the menu. We will make the trip again.
Went to Frankies with three friends and we all had the best dinner together we have had. We are not going to bother trying new places for our regular get-togethers. We’re going to Frankies from now on because there are still lots of things on the menu to try. Everything we had was hot, beautiful and tastey. The lemonade is squeezed fresh, the coffee is fair trade and delish, and they even serve good tasting water! The breads were crusty and perfect, and the desserts. Wow. Perfect. A perfect meal was had by all.

We celebrated my bithday, and were treated like family. The food was great. Gotta try the ceasar salad. I had the Seafood Bake, it was awesome. We had the sticky toffee pudding and chocolate cake for dessert. Delicious. We will come back again, and bring friends. I can't believe everything was gluten free. Makes the experience that much better.
The food at Frankie's was simply amazing. The food is really out of this world. The service was great - they were very very friendly. It is really comfortable in there and it's not super formal. Next time we will take our kids. We will be there for New Years for sure and we have also gotten take out and it was amazing too. You will want to make this restaurant your number 1 choice for this area. The other restaurants in town have tough competition!
We met the owners and they are very funny and friendly.
