Felicio's Cake Boutique

Alessandra Felicio opened up Felicio’s Cake Boutique with the vision of leaving a legacy for generations to come. There’s no doubt she’s making her mark. Alessandra and her family moved to Canada in 2002 from her homeland of Brazil and began introducing friends and family to their cakes and desserts, which were infused with Brazilian heritage.

“I come from a line of bakers, and they passed on that passion,” says Alessandra. “So I have this gift for bringing happiness to people through my cakes and desserts. All of my recipes are straight from Brazil. Brazilian baking is much different, the techniques we use and the way the creams are made, it’s not like traditional baking.”

The buzz about her baked goods spread quickly and Alessandra found herself taking on many requests prior to even opening up her cake boutique. She took a leap of faith and changed careers, and is now proud to be doing something she is truly passionate about.
