The White Owl never ceases to impress me. The food they offer is great. The chef is accommodating to vegetarians and will create off menu items.
I like the White Owl and go there often for lunch or supper. At lunch last time I had the turkey burger with the cranberry salsa and I thought it was quite good. Their crepes are amazing - not too sweet, lots of fruit and whipped cream. Enough for 3 of us to share for dessert. My friend loved her Thai chicken salad .... Our waitress was very happy and efficient. Her mood rubs off on you! I think the prices are good when you consider the cost of quality ingredients.... not a lot of mixes or cheap pie fill going down here
A great dining experience. The service was excellent. The food was perfectly cooked and plentiful. We will return as we are frequent visitors to North Bay.
Your Staff was excellent with each meal we went to. We were very impressed with Sherry, who was excellent. She was kind, caring and knew how to serve people. The out door patio was our favorite and the live music on our last night was a real treat. Thank you again to Sherry and to all the Staff at the White Owl Bistro for making our holiday very special! Thank you also goes out the Chef for his exquisite peroration of all dishes. I wish we could have known his name.
The food was quite good, except the sorbet was unexpectedly more like a granita. Our chief complaint is that the chairs were horribly uncomfortable. They were too high for the table and instead of a leisurely, lovely meal we all left with sore backs. Too bad I'll remember the pain more than the food.
