July 22/13 5:30 dinner, place is filthy, flies everywhere. Waited 30 minutes on our food and then were served large pcs of corn on the cob (most seniors don't eat this), we were not advised of the vegetable. Liver was seriously burned, hot turkey was not hot. Baked potato was not cooked. Waitress was offended and inexcusably rude when we advised we didn't like the food and it was not acceptable. She gave us 25% discount for food we did not eat. She was right, we were wrong, we left and we will NEVER return and will advise other's to stay away. Too bad we eat out on average 10 meals per week.
Enormous portions.Everything is big enough to share. The service is just ok as we had to ask occassionally for things. Also, there are sooo many flies in the dining area that it can make it difficult to eat. Take out would be my suggestion. The nachos are layered depending on who is cooking but the large size is literally half the size of the table.. The burger was thick, loaded and tasty. They brand the name of their restaurant on the patty. Chicken fingers were big but average tasting.
The waitress made a mistake on my breakfast order and was visibly upset that I dared to tell her. She said that she had written it down and that is what I ordered!! Why would I order something I didn't like!! She replaced it but not willingly and acted like I was at fault. Obviously she had not written it down correctly. She was very rude. The breakfast was very greasy, particularly the home fries. I will never go back there even though since Louies first opened my family and friends have gone there on and off.
