Absolutely the worst dining experience I've ever had. I love trying new places but this was a HUGE disappointment. Everything was wrong.
We entered and no one was there, which should have been a sign. We used the bathrooms and they were simply DISGUSTING. Those two signs should have been enough to send us on our way but somehow we thought/hoped that perhaps it was a "hidden gem". WRONG!
Horrific prices, cold food, bad service, terrible wine, bad music.
We left wondering why they even bother. It seems as if they really don't want any customers.
The only reason I would recommend going is to see how horrible the bathrooms are. Check out the soap dispenser in the Ladies room. It hasn't been used in months. It makes you wonder about the hygiene of the entire place.
I felt for the young family that came in part way through. It seemed like a hard working family that was out for a Friday night treat with their two young kids. At the end of their meal a plate was pile with uneaten food and they were picking a hair out of their tacos!

My and my girl went here for the first time. We got there at 8pm and food came at 9:10pm. The service was so bad we gave NO TIP. Jsut pay and went away. They do give you alot of food, but this food shouldnt take this long. Also gave water 1x and that was the first and NEVER came back to give more water and to say SORRY for waiting. I will NEVER go back there again

I visited gonzos with my husband after it being recommended by our friends. The place is truly off the beaten path and worth every visit..the food was fabulous and all homemade with lots of flavor, i especially enjoyed the fresh guacamole salad with homemade salsa and chips. most mexican restos in toronto dont make that much homemade stuff...it was excellent and my husband and i definaltey ;plan on going back, highly recommend it and i cannot stress how authentic and tasty the food was!!!
