Dr. Humphrey has been my physician for over ten years. He is a skilled, knowledgeable and trustworthy professional. He has always been proactive where my health is concerned while displaying an understanding and compassionate nature in some stressful (for me) situations. Overall, I have always found the medical centre to be well-run, efficient and staffed with skilled and kind professionals.

trying to get an appointment with the regular or on call doctor means staying on the phone for a very long time. I had only 2 callers ahead of me and after waiting 20 minutes I gave up.

Ive been a patient with Dr Conter for several years now and what I love most is that usually there is little trouble getting an apt when you need it. Most of all , when my apt is at 9am, I am in at 9am. I like that hes very prompt and efficient. Any follow ups with specialists seem to be scheduled quicker than I expect and he doesnt over prescribe. Overall its usually a positive experience and I usually leave with what I needed and the knowledge about why I needed it.

Have been going there many years and Dr. Howard Conter and all the rest are excellent. Yesterday (Sunday) went because I had a medical concern, and with no notice whatever the duty doctor saw me right away and dealt with my problem. I highly recommend these physicians and their administrative staff.

So fortunate that we were transferred to Dr Howard Conter at Family Practice Associates when our GP retired a few years ago. Dr Conter and the entire practice are caring, professional and well connected to specialists - don't wait long for referrals. Wonderful care from the admin staff, to the nurses, to the doctors. And the hours are so accommodating! Best practice in Halifax!!!
