We had our son and new daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner at the Thai Orchid Room in August 2011. Sou and her team made it very special. The food was fabulous! They set up a buffet for us and the food just kept on coming' some people went back for thirds and fourths! The deep fried bananas for dessert were a big hit. One of the cooks carved a centerpiece out of a watermelon, cantaloupe and honeydew making them look like flowers that garnered many compliments. They had no trouble seating and serving thirty of us in grand style. Thanks everyone for making our special occasion a real highlight of the weekend. When ever we are in town I see no reason to eat anywhere else. You "Hatters" are very lucky to have such a fine dining experience at your doorstep!
Very tasteful, every thing fresh. In short a pleasant surprise for a reasonable price.
Thai Orchid is the only Thai Restaurant in Medicine Hat, the food is great, however, the price for one dish, is quite expensive. But it's still worth trying. I do recommend eatting at Thai Orchid.

Had to wait for a table but that was because it is constantly busy due to the excellent food. Well worth it.
Great restaurant, wonderfukl owners that ensure you are having a great experience. Don't liek that you cannot make reservations for smaller parties as weekends are usually very busy and don't like to have to wait. Check out the ladies washroom, i could spend all evening in there haha LOVE IT!!!
I had an aweosme experience at the Thai orchid room. It is a diamond in the rough. It is a unique restaurant with its own flare and relaxing tones. I will eat there again. They also have smaller desert menu but it does not hurt them one bit as the few items they do have all step up to the plate (literally) when it cames to taste and appearance. 5 stars form a medicine hat girl who is sick of the everyday, run of the mill restaurants that medicine hat seems to be filled with.
