I have nothing bad to say about this restaurant. Loved the quality of service, taste of food and price. We like to come to Family Wok for lunch as a group of us work downtown Oshawa and we all love the Family Wok. Today we went for lunch and in a bit of a hurry. The people who run this restaurant are always so friendly! To top that off, the food is great. I really enjoy their palak paneer especially. They're also great with accomodating tastes. I like my food spicy, while my other family members are not so keen on it. When I order spice levels all over the map, it's never screwed up. Always perfect for each person. Went for a friends party, service was a little slow but it's to be expected when you're with a large group and the place is busy. The music was good, and not too loud so that you can't have a conversation, which I like while I'm out for dinner with friends. I had the Baja Quesadilla(3 friends did as well), the wife got a poutine. It was so good I went back for another one a week later. Good to see a traditional type place with a not so traditional menu. They have everything you'd expect them to (burgers, wings etc..) but they had some great choices that really made me appreciate the variety in their menu. I'm definitely going back again. It's going to be hard not to try that Baja Quesadilla though, it was a big hit with everyone that ordered it. Lire plus
