A.j. Watch & Clock Shoppe

I left a watch to be repaired here earlier this year. Hadn't heard back after 2 months and returned to see if it was ready. It was not. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and left it. Returned today to see that they are permanently closed with no notice to their customers. My watch is gone. No contact information, nothing. I want my watch back and have reported you to BBB Canada.

On June 30th I took a vintage cuckoo clock in to be restored and fixed. Since then I have PMd the shop twice and called several times, told I would be called back,but no one called back, and I could not leave a message since their voice mail is not initialized. It has been 4 months and they have been unable to tell me when my clock would be ready. I am now going to request it back since they appear not to have been able to fix it. Very poor service.

This month, we visited A & J Clocks to change the battery in my diamond watch and then on another occasion to adjust the wristband on my son's new diving watch. Both times they completed the work right away while we waited. They worked quickly and the cost was extremely reasonable. The staff are very knowledgeable, yet humble. You can tell they have a passion for clocks and timepieces. The pride in the work they do is obvious. I would return to this shop again and definitely recommend.

So knowledgeable and helpful! I consulted another company who stated they would charge $75 just to LOOK at my clock issue. I contacted John at A & J Clocks who had me bring it in to see the issue, then fixed it within 3 minutes ON THE SPOT and refused to take any payment from me. Thank you so much and I will never look for another watch/clock shop again!!
