Marlon Teekah started personal training because he wanted to help people reach new fitness limits, look and feel better and reach the goals they set for themselves. “I love this, I can’t imagine myself doing anything else,” says Marlon.

Marlon’s main motivation for helping his clients is tapping into their inner self to understand why they are training and to help change every aspect in their life ― not just what’s on the surface. “When I help people do their best, it will change things and they realize what they value most," he explains.

Marlon strongly believes one hour of exercise can have a positive impact on a person’s fitness and change the other 23 hours of their daily life; he calls it the 1:23 Ratio. “Exercise builds a person's stamina, it improves their strength and decreases stress,” says Marlon. “These benefits connect to other things like more confidence, better moods and better quality of sleep. These personal improvements also help them in the relationships and career. The first thing I ask my clients is what’s in it for them and how training is going to serve them outside of the gym on a day to day basis."
