I purchased a set...

I purchased a set of lug nuts, and found that package included one with incorrect thread. Was told item would be replaced same day, however one week later and after 3 visits to the store buying a new set else where. Staff expressed - that it is not their job to check package content, or accuracy of item's labelling, that they are can not be held responsible for their manufacturer's mistakes. Will not accept a refund as item has been removed from original packaging.
