We've eaten here for a number of times now, when we get hungry and don't know where else to go. Brampton's restaurant offerings are very meager at best. I've had better Thai in Toronto. But, I think this restaurant is pretty good for its price. I really hope they won't go under, because Brampton really couldn't afford to lose any!
The Pad Thai was fairly good, if not a tad greacy, but don't let that turn you off, it's not that greacy. The meal goes down quite good, and the portion is *huge*, you will *not* be hungry after that! They should reduce the amount of rice noodles in it, and go with a slightly thinner noodle, and add more veggies on the side. That would help.
The Appetizer we had was really cute. 4 sate skewers with chicken on it, served with a small mini bbq. Very cute. It gives you something to pick and play with while you wait for the main meal. The peanut sauce with it is really very nicely spiced. Not hot, but very nice choice of herby flavours.
For restaurant prices, they're priced really very aggressively competitive, which is good for the customer, but I hope they can survive, because I'd like to eat there again. Service is as good as one can expect. You get helped right away, no waiting, prompt, no hassle water refills, no frowning, waitresses were friendly and prompt on all occasions, respectable, no attitudes.
ps. my entry is legitimate, not some sort of bogus made up 10 scores, which makes you think that a waitress made the entry to do the boss a favor...

I read the reviews and we decided to go. First of all the service was sub-par. We had to ask to be seated. The wait staff were gloomy - not a smile to be had. The food was not that impressive either - the cashew chicken was not memorable - I could have made the same dish. The duck dish was too spicy. The only impressive thing about this restaurant was the decor - outstanding. The high ceilings and the traditional Thai finishes were worth the visit.
The service was slow and the waitress was forgetful (even though the place was not busy at all). Despite serving a decent pad thai, the dish was ruined by dried-up tofu that was hard to eat. I've only been there once, so I'm hoping it was just a bad night.
