My clasp broke on my bridesmaid dress two days prior to the wedding. Although, I fixed it, I wanted to get a professional to look at it. With a day to work on it, Gulgun fixed earlier than the time given. She was caring and sweet throughout the entire time and was very kind to the person that picked up my dress.
Great place to get your tailoring needs met. My first time using a tailor and was very pleased. They have a lot of years experience and are meticulous in their work. Will definitely return if needing work done in the future.
I have had several pairs of pants let out and the work Gulgun did was fantastic! My daughter bought a skirt on sale that was too large and thought she could "fix" it herself; which was not going well. My daughter and I saw Gulgun and within 90 minutes the skirt looked fantastic, fit and looked far better than expected...my daughter was thrilled! If you want honest opinions and excellent work ... this is the place!
Would not recommend this place! Brought couple of pants for hemming and they were all cut too short, would not provide money back...bad experience.

This person is lying, not telling the truth. I do not have his name in my customer book and am not aware of his/her claims.
PROFESSIONAL, REASONABLE PRICING & EFFICIENT!! I brought in 3 pairs of pants to Matthew's Tailor Shop which were a little out of date. They tapered in the legs a few inches and the results were superb! Being from Vancouver I was a little hesitant to bring my pants in to the cute store in White Rock but I was very pleased with what the seamstresses had altered on my suit pants. I would highly recommend this business! Thanks Gulgan!!
I got my jeans as well as my shorts tailored here because the waist was too large in comparison to the legs. Gluten did an amazing job! The service was extremely quick and reliable. I will for sure t=be coming back!!
My sister went there to get her WEDDING DRESS fitted and the lady Gulgun asked her if she still had the receipt, when my sister replied yes I do why? she responded with, because you need to return it because you look FAT in the dress.....the nerve this lady has. I will be letting everyone I know to never go there unless they want to be insulted by this rude unprofessional lady.

In no way was my objective to insult you're sister. I politely explained to her that in order to make the dress fit as she wanted there would have to be a lot alterations done. She would be paying 1/3 of the value of the dress to alter it which in my opinion wouldn't be worth it for her. I gave my insight on the situation which was taken as insulting but that was not my intention at all. I am sorry if your sister was offended by this but she departed the shop pleasantly. Every customer I have previously had has left my tailor shop satisfied, and happy.
This tailor shop is the best around! Had a great experience with the hemming and alteration of my jacket. The owner was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I had asked her to fix the length of my jacket and her skills was impeccable and very professional!I will definitely come back for all my other alterations! I highly recommend this place for anybody who need their clothes fixed!

Gulgun and Esra are the new owners of this store and they did a great job fixing my jacket and bunch of my jeans' alterations. Reasonable price and in a very short time period. Showed great sympathy and welcoming to their store, especially Gulgun used to be a sewing teacher with 30 years experience as a dress maker. Highly recommended, must try.
