In 2011, Maryana Harasemljuk’s sister – a busy mom of three – asked her to put together an activity for her daughter’s birthday party – something different than the usual that would keep young guests busy. As an early learning teacher, Maryana thought it was a great opportunity to offer something fun and educational at the same time. The party was a great success – and it didn’t take long until she received even more requests from other parents. This made her realize that there was a real demand for children’s party entertainment in Edmonton where the kids are having fun while learning.
Miss Maryana’s Parties is all about teaching kids or helping them to experience something different. “The goal is to keep kids interested,” she says. “I want them to wonder why things happen or experience new things.” Maryana has developed several different types of party sessions, from taking the kids on a safari-themed adventure, to encouraging their chef skills, to learning about the interesting things they can do with science.
