When Kyle Chow started making terrariums out of his home four years ago, he had no idea that these tiny worlds would soon take on a life of their own. Since he was a small child, playing with plants has been a cherished past-time for Kyle. Whether it was helping his grandma plant her garden or working at a local gardening shop as a teenager, he knew that gardening would always be a part of his life. But it took a career in art & design and teaching for him to realize that he wanted to get back to nature in a more serious way.
“The biggest attraction for opening this store was definitely getting to work with my hands again. I wanted to get away from the computer and start using my gardening experience to build up to something bigger,” says Kyle. Having always dreamt of opening his own shop, he combined his talents to come up with something entirely unique – PLANT Terrariums.
